ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

The purpose of the Cinco Ranch High School Athletic Booster Club (CRHSABC) athletic scholarships program is to recognize CRHS athletes for their contribution to CRHS athletics based on their athletic achievements, leadership, character, and initiative. 

The number of scholarships awarded each year is based on the enrollment of the sentior class.  For every 100 seniors 2 athletic scholarships are awarded (1 to a boy and 1 to a girl).  For example, a Senior Class of 685 students would be awarded a total of 14 athletic scholarships (7 boys and 7 girls) for a total of $14,000.00. 

Each Scholarship awarded is for $1000.00 to be administered by the college or univeristy in increments of $500 for the Fall semester and $500 for the Spring semester of the recipients Freshman year.   Scholarship awards are mailed directly to the recipient's college or university and not given to the individual recipients or their family members.

Student picks up Scholarship Application from Counselors Office or download from website:

Student returns completed Scholarship Application to Counselors Office to be date stamped ON OR BEFORE 1:00 p.m. of Deadline date:

Matrix Committee Meets & Scores Applications
Scholarship Committee Chair notifies finalists and schedules interview times & sends regret letters to other applicants
Scholarship Finalist participate in interviews
Scholarship Finalists notified of outcome via phone and email
Scholarship Winners Names posted on CRHS ABC Website
Scholarships Awarded by ABC President and Committee Chair to Winners at the CRHS Awards Night Ceremony
